More than 500 years ago the Incas traveled through
a great part of Chile and used this passage as a strategic way
to cross the mountain range. Traces of their existence in this
place are evident from remains found in the Andes mountain
range.
Paddle in a sea kayak in a lagoon with this historical background
at 2,800 meters above sea level, surrounded by gigantic Andean
massifs that disappear in the crystal clear waters of the lake
that is more than 500 feet deep.
You will be overtaken by the prevailing silence, the majestic condor
flight and the snow capped cordillera. We will experience
unique sensations reserved only for us silent paddlers.
We meet at 7AM in Santiago (YAK office) and return the same day
late in the afternoon (aprox 8PM).
